Setting the Island to rights after the introduction of the serum and Poseidon's changes was difficult, but not impossible. Choose those few citizens who could be trusted absolutely to be sent away for the 6 months between gate openings was much harder. Greece was a hard mistress to please what with the Gods warring among themselves over petty and trivial things. Their wars always seem to involve the poor citizenry that worship them and hardly ever in any good fashion.
